DEMONOLOGY

            A demon is typically defined as pure evil. Each religion, however,
has its own definition for what constitutes a demon. For instance the Judeo-Christian belief is that they are fallen angels under the leadership of Satan, to conspire against Heaven and to deceive humans. They are not the souls of dammed humans. The origin
of the word demon comes from the Greek term Daemon which translates to messenger.
Greek mythology dictates that demons were important messengers between the gods
and humans; demons had souls, but unlike humans were meta-physical. There are countless ideals regarding demons, but for our purposes we have narrowed the field drastically.

            We define a demon as an evil energy whose main purpose is to cause suffering.
Typical symptoms of a demon haunting are minor injuries such as scratches or welts, foul odors, and deep, throaty growls. They also assail the human mind with apprehension and fear. While these are typical symptoms they are not the only evidence of a demon haunting. What sets apart this type of haunting from a common spiritual haunting is that demons can be attracted to one particular person and the creature’s main purpose is to prey upon and antagonize humans.

            If the haunting is demonic, one should AVOID individual confrontation with the entity. Always remain in control of the situation and of your emotions, particularly rage.
The best way to interact with a demon is not to react at all. The more you react to its presence, the more power you give it and the stronger it will become. If you ignore it, it should, theoretically, lose its power.
